CLAIRE LAWRENCE PhD

I am Director of Lawrence PsychAdvisory, a UK-based consultancy organisation which provides evidence-based advisory services for individuals and organisations aimed at the management and reduction of interpersonal aggression. Prior to this, I spent over 20 years in tenured academia both at the Universities of Nottingham, and the University of Leicester. My PhD (awarded in 1998) examined how individuals perceived episodes of barroom violence. My interests include individual differences in aggressive and antisocial traits and social perception of aggressive and ambiguous behavior. I have more than 30 years of experience in the field, working with the health service, prison service, police service, retail and banking sectors, as well as voluntary and public service.
