I received my Ph.D. in social psychology from the University of Lodz (2023). In my dissertation, I investigated the role of the mechanisms in the Social Emotional Information Processing (SEIP) model in the relationships between the Dark Triad traits (narcissism, psychopathy, and Machiavellianism) and proactive and reactive aggression. I am particularly interested in how and where people justify their use of aggression and how it relates to their personality, hostile (and other) beliefs, and subtypes of aggressive behavior. I am now leading several projects related to aggressive and disparagement humor (i.e., humor that belittles and derogates specific individuals, social groups, or ideologies). I have also been involved in research projects revolving around prejudice, morality, social functions of emotions, biased information processing and biased diagnosis of premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), and social consequences of the pandemic.
