MAŁGORZATA PIĘTA-LĘDZION Assistant Professor

Dr. Małgorzata Pięta-Lendzion is a psychologist and psychotherapist. Her research interests focus on the intersection of clinical psychology and health psychology, with particular emphasis on psychotherapeutic processes and the psychological functioning of children and adolescents.

She obtained a doctoral degree in social sciences in the discipline of Psychology at the University of Warsaw. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Warsaw within the MISMaP program. She completed a comprehensive psychotherapy training accredited by the Scientific Section of Psychotherapy and the Scientific Section of Family Therapy of the Polish Psychiatric Association, of which she is a member.

She works as an assistant professor at VIZJA University. She combines scientific, teaching, and clinical activities. She has participated in research projects funded by the National Science Centre, including OPUS grants, and was also the principal investigator of a PRELUDIUM grant. She is the author of more than 20 scientific articles published in peer-reviewed journals with international reach. She has presented research results at numerous national and international conferences, including the 10th European Conference on Positive Psychology in Reykjavik and ESCAP 2023 in Copenhagen.

She gained clinical experience, among others, at the Ośrodek Regeneracja, the Psychiatric Ward for Children in Józefów, the Warsaw Infectious Diseases Hospital, the Mother and Child Institute in Warsaw, and the psychoanalytic clinic of ISPHS. She has also provided psychological assistance to foreigners at Petramedica.
